Yo, got the first of many TD updates coming this month. We've recently been focused on presentation details. The first image you see is more WIP from the intro scene. The perspective is a bit odd, but I felt the ship needed to be tilted a certain degree to read well. I think it will work for the brief moment it will be shown, but I might play with it some more, and maybe add another layer of streaking lights for greater depth.

The following images are concepts for the wingman unlock screen. After you beat certain levels for the fist time you will unlock a new wingman and see a screen like this. It will also be animated when implemented, so the sprite will be demonstrating its attacks and specials. The BG has random twinkling and streaking stars. Also the grid at the top scrolls.

I've recently completed all the boss profiles and we've implemented the boss intro sequences. Just needs a little fine tuning on the timing of the sequence yet.

Also making some updates with the audio lately. We did commission 4 all new tracks for the VR missions, and those are already done and implemented. Maybe some of the best music in the game!
