Pixelcast - 39 (Patreon)

I think this is my longest Pixelcast yet! I put more time than usual into the artwork, which means it takes a lot more time to edit the footage. That’s why I try to not spend so much time on Pixelcast artworks, but it’s cool to see more complex artworks come together. Worth the effort.

I tried a layered technique to create the pine trees. It worked pretty good for setting up the composition but felt a little excessive and wasn’t very time efficient. Definitely some merit in the technique though, and I will hopefully refine it and use it more. All in all this piece was pretty challenging due to the level of details, and it took me a while to find the right clusters to capture the right texture of the pine trees. It was a fun challenge and I think it’s one of my best Pixelcasts to date. I also put great effort into the music production, and I think I improved some of my mastering techniques lately.
