but honestly it's the exact same with any mode of transportation. just imagine some overworked person did that at a car manufacturing company - you'd be dead too.

Character News * This episode we meet Charlie, Huck's old CIA mentor / colleague, now implied to do freelance stuff, and responsible for Amanda's kidnapping & death * Mild note, I think this episode is the first appearance of Tom & Hal (or at least the first time they're named), 2 members of Fitz's personal security detail * We finally get to meet Vice President Sally Langston after several episodes of only seeing her chief of staff Billy Chambers. I've mentioned it several times now, but she's exceedingly right wing, religious Plot Points * We get confirmation that Amanda Tanner is dead. Olivia originally thinks Fitz ordered it, but then when Fitz denies it, she deduces that it was Cyrus, which Fitz has no counter for. Cyrus later has a very...cold conversation with Fitz with zero sympathy, so it's implied he did indeed do so. * Olivia asks Huck to find Amanda's body. We get to see Huck's darker side as he tortures Charlie for it's location (where they later find her body, confirming her death) * Cyrus recieves a blackmail letter for the sex tape they recieved back in 1x3, confirming it wasn't Amanda or Olivia who sent it. The "letter" is an old President's resignation speach (sorry, I'm Canadian and thus don't know my US Presidents lol), stating that they will resign effective noon tomorrow. * We learn that Amanda's baby was **not** Fitz's - whose is it then, and why was she claiming it was? * Fitz leaves the White House to go to Olivia's, something he has to bully Tom & Hal into letting him do This epsiode also holds one of my favourite sequences with Fitz, Tom, and Hal: "I am not a prisoner." / "No sir." / "I am the most powerful man on the planet" / "Yes sir." / "But I can't leave my house" / "No sir." / "You see where I might be a little annoyed?" And of course, this episode in Shondaland Talent Reuse, we have Kate Burton as Sally, who you recognized as Ellis Grey (which combined with Jeff as Cyrus / Thatcher makes for some interesting parallels lol). Usual "let me know if I let a spoiler slip" request.

Crystal

Your face with Sally “Ellis” showed up😂. Funny scandal used to come on directly after Greys and every one was like”what’s Meredith parents doing here?” And we find out Huck is daaarrrk..

Kadence Collins

i so wish i could rewatch this show for the first time

When u stare into the camera with the shocked faces like in the end I always think my screen is frozen ur so still LMFAO SORRY it just always has me cracking up up 😂😂

I think they all have a very deep bond with Olivia bc she saved them out of terrible situations (like we learned with Abby’s ex husband last episode) and Huck mentioned that that is what Liv does - she saves people and gives them purpose. I agree it’s a very interesting dynamic but I wouldn’t call it a cult. Like we’ve established they vote on taking on clients and everyone could leave at any point. Huck is a VERY interesting character, I agree. That’s all I can say without crossing into spoiler territory ;)

i’ve seen the show so ik why they look at her the way they do. i kept the comment at what travis has seen, and like what my thoughts were on first watch, so as on now we don’t know exactly what olivia pulled huck out of and that’s what i was saying. and i said cult like: that’s not me saying they’re in one, just when you’ve got one head huncho and everyone follows them, (and abby said herself they don’t really vote) olivia’s word is bond, they’ll follow her “over a cliff” id say my assessment was pretty spot on😂 And i accidentally deleted my original comment 😭😭😭
