Needless to say, pleasantly surprised to find Scandal is apparently a 2/week show (unless someone boosted?), of course it went up when I was unavailable to watch it :/ Continuing my little character roster, this episode we meet 2 more: * Billy Chambers, the Vice President's Chief of Staff (so the same role as Cyrus, but working for the as-yet-unknown Vice President instead of President Fitz) * Gideon Wallace, a small-time reporter poking around the Amanda Tanner situation * While I mentioned First Lady Mellie Grant in the 1x1 character list, and she did technically make an appearance, this episode we properly get to see her for the first time. * Also, you were unsure about the new girl's name, you were correct, it's Quinn Perkins. Some things we learn this episode: * This is a Republican administration, with hints that the Vice President is very right-leaning. * Gideon is pretty decent at his job, successfully tracking Amanda to OPA, and learning who Quinn works for & that Olivia is involved. Ironically, if Quinn *hadn't* brought in Amanda, Gideon might have stopped digging. * We get a little background on Quinn, at some point she had a problem, a lot of people wanted to [???], and she was all alone and would have loved someone like Olivia to help her. One note worth mentioning, in the coming episodes they'll mention some years - to give you a timeframe, this season originally aired in **2012**. (Since this is both a plot-heavy & character-heavy show with fast talking, I intend to keep making comments like this to make sure you don't miss stuff. If Travis would like me to stop, or people think I accidentally included spoilers, please let me know. Thanks for the great reactions, and looking forwards to the next episode!)
