I remember when I first saw this one and I initially didn't think Stark was too bad; a bit of a dick but not worse than Alex et al. That was until the ping pong situation had me hating the guy. LOL *ugh, forgot it was that episode. Dammit, Karev. Kepner didn't deserve that. Poor girl.

i love all the different friendships this episode showcases, derek and cristina have a very special relationship, avery and kepner starting to get more shine and more depth, cristina and callie are so underrated imo i looove them together, and mer always being the person karev can really talk to: ugh just such a goooood episode

Agreed! Two things about trauma survivors: they gonna have trauma and they gonna survive. That's what I love the most about Alex is that he shows a very real portrayal of what it is like to be someone who grew up the way that he did.

These poor doctors, I think they all have PTSD. The way both Avery and Alex flipped out and it seems in both cases to be brought up from other stuff shows that, and of course Cristina. Alex was a major AH to April though, I honestly wish he had snapped at Stark instead of April. No one’s first time should be rushed through like that. I’m so glad Jackson was there for her. I love the evolving friendship with Derek and Cristina too.
