I don't know what they were smoking with that dream sequence, but I want some (I don't, actually) 🤣🤣🤣Dream Marjan calling dream TK a nincompoop is just rude! This episode is another example of good Owen. He's there to give out good advice to his subordinate/friend/roommate (still think the roommate part is a little weird, but this is a weird show and we love it) and he's there to provide emotional support to Mateo after he finds out about his cousin's demise. I still love not-so-good Owen because he gets himself into a lot of ridiculous situations 🤣🤣🤣, but I'll take good Owen any day of the week. Love Judd's relationship with Wyatt! He knows he didn't handle Wyatt's situation well at first, but he made it up to him in the end ("soft as a baby's belly" 🤣🤣🤣). There's no such thing as a perfect parent, but Judd's doing a good job 👍Definitely not my favorite episode, but still enjoyable in most parts

I am pretty sure the whole Mateo/Marvin part of this episode was because fans were talking about how the actor was in both shows and were making silly headcannons about it. I think the writers just decided to go with it and be silly. It also gave them a reason to get rid of Marvin and focus on Mateo. I love that we get really serious episodes like Marjan’s and then we get wacky and zany like this episode. Even with the silliness there was still some serious moments. The dream sequence is hilarious. I really love that no matter what Carlos is a police officer. I mean why change a good thing. I also love nincompoop T.K., as his sidekick. If I remember right they used the dream sequence in the preview for this episode which just made things even weirder. Judd may have been hard on Wyatt but I think he was right. It would not have been right for him to go to the Chief and get him special treatment. I would think it would just make him a target in training. I am glad Judd came around in the end and offered to get him ready for the fire academy or whatever it’s called.

Welp, that happened! This episode is bonkers and definitely not my fave 🥴 I agree with you, didn't land for me either. On to the next! Thankfully we'll rebound with lots of goodness still to come this season 👌
