I would be curious what your major was in university. I believe this show was my real intro to Jen, so I have always been obsessed with her. This episode is our first intro to the book codes!! Vaughn is so serious. I mean, granted I don't think he has much to be happy about. I was doing a bit of digging because I was looking for when the mid-season finale was and I found this nugget as to why it always feels like this show does cliffhangers. "Also, usually, a plot finishes at mid-episode and a new plot begins, so every episode finishes with a cliffhanger. The impression thus created is that an episode will conclude the previous one and plant the seeds of the next one."

Yeah, this was my introduction to Jen as well (Gina, too, although, I didn't know it at the time, lol), well, this and 13 Going On 30. I totally had a crush on Jen back then. I even watched her in Daredevil and Elektra (they were so bad; the new Daredevil is so much better, lol). I'll always think she's a beautiful woman, though ;)

You know, I always seem to like characters that are in the "Marshall" role, including Marshall. There's just something endearing about them. Also, Jack always intrigues me because he's so guarded, but he says so much with his eyes (I'm sure you've noticed that they do a lot of close-ups on his eyes, lol). He may act calm, cool, and collected, but you can see so much inner turmoil just from those close-ups of his eyes. Will is like an addict. He knows he should stop for the sake of his friend, but as soon as he feels the pull (or in this case, gets a phone call), he goes right back in. This show really does a good job drawing you in and it only gets better at it as you go along! You know, when I binge a series like this, I never watch the "previously on _________" scenes, but it makes sense when I watch it with you since the episodes are more spread out (that's what it was like watching it weekly, too, lol). I'm glad that you're getting more sucked into the world of Alias. It's a wild ride, Travis!

One of my favorite shows!! Season 1 is alittle harder to get into but once season 2 starts look out!!! 😃
