Yeah, pretty much like if they don't die and it isn't covered in the next episode you can assume that the patient is living and okay. Sometimes like later down the track you get to see like patients in like longer term care. But for the most part if the patient is alive at the end of the show, they are good to go.

I love a good Christmas episode, too, and this one's a good one. I like Cristina talking with that little boy Justin and giving him some good advice, I like Bailey (always), I love all of the interns helping Alex study for his test (like Meredith and her Brooklyn accent, and George and his surfer bro boy 'tude, lol, and Cristina calling Alex "evil spawn" but helping him anyway)... the interns helping Alex is probably my favorite part of the episode. And the funniest line, I think, has to go to Izzy in this one. When I first saw this episode and Alex asked her why she was helping him with his test, and Izzy paused and then yelled, "Because that's what JESUS would do!" I swear I cried laughing, I was laughing so hard. SO FUNNY. I also love when George finally told off that horribly insane family whose daughter had 3 bleeding ulcers. For crying out loud, no wonder she had ulcers! They were so negative and loud and wouldn't even let her rest. So when Bailey gave George the go-ahead to tell them off, and then Bailey follows it up with, "Interns... they're young, too emotional... my apologies" without really meaning it and walking away.... SO FUNNY too. I'm glad you're still enjoying the show! It's a lot of fun in these early seasons most especially. You're getting the good stuff. ;)
