This episode has so many layers of easter eggs for the book readers which is amazing because there were so many things they weren't able to put into the show. But also this episode is so pivotal.

I really loved the reaction. Shadowhunters has been my comfort show ever since it was released in 2016 (I read the books before), and I really love seeing others fall in love with the show that meant so much to me. This show will continue getting better. Funfact, I found out last Christmas that supposedly this series (book series) is actually a Harry Potter fanfiction (Jace is, I believe supposed, to be Draco and Clary Ginny😅 now everytime I watch it I think hmm who is Alec, Simon, Izzy and so on supposed to represent)
