I so enjoyed this! Some really awesome songs on this album. Thank you again Travis for making this possible. And by the way your reaction was so amazing!

Louis actually wrote this whole album deliberately for a live tour, and he has an amazing band with like 3 guitarist’s. He writes all his own songs. He was the main songwriter for one direction and wrote on most of their last 3 albums. This album is a complete departure from his first album Walls. But from that you might really enjoy Kill My Mind and Walls. Which are rockier. His voice is so beautiful very easy on the ear and unique. He just finished a sold out world tour and then launched this! His work ethic is incredible. So proud of Louis and this album! If you do ever check out 1D I recommend Made in the AM, their last album.

I’ve been a massive fan of Louis since One Direction and I’m proud he’s come so far and found his sound! This was his second solo album, his first was Walls, and it’s more acoustic sounding than this one. Judging on your reaction to the more low key songs on this album, I’m not sure you’d vibe with it, but I absolutely love it. Like Sherri C said, you’d probably like the songs Kill My Mind and Walls from it. I’m glad you loved Faith in the Future overall! He’s at a place where he’s fine making the music he wants to make and not chasing commercial success so glad to see it’s garnering new fans

I feel like that is when people end up being most successful - when they stoping chasing success and just let it come to them ! Seems way more authentic.

2023-07-01 02:34:01 I love Louis so much! I actually became a One Direction fan only after they had broken up. Harry was my favourite in the beginning, but then I quickly fell in love with Louis as well. (Now I love all five of them.) I think Harry’s still my number one, but Louis is definitely a close second. I can’t even begin to say how much I adore him, not only because of his music, but also just because of who he is as a person <3 Could you maybe react to Louis’ song called “Copy of a Copy of a Copy”? I’d be really interested to hear your thoughts on it. I’ve heard many people say that the song is about closeting in the music industry, as well as just generally being trapped and constrained by unfair contracts. Back in the day One Direction was incredibly overworked and mistreated by their management, so Louis unfortunately has personal experience dealing with all that. Louis hasn’t released an official studio version of that song, but here is a good live performance of it: https://youtu.be/mkxl07qRNHE

Louis wrote the album with the live shows in mind. Thats probably why you instinctively pictured them played at a concert :) Him and his band sound so good and the atmosphere at his gigs is very very special. He is actually touring next year, so if you can go, I would definitely recommend it!!! He does have another solo album out called Walls. I absolutely love it, but it does have more of a laid-back vibe. I would love to see you check it out though... so maybe give it a try ;)
