I do think this movie is overly hated. However with you having zero knowledge of these characters I could see how you did enjoy it. The effects were nice, the acting wasn’t bad and the music was good. But there is a lot of controversial things that don’t match up well with future events and such. Also you said he looks like Harry styles I can see that. A lot of people say he looks like Bucky Barnes aka the winter soldier

So, I could see myself liking this movie a lot better if I had seen this movie before the original trilogy, but alas, I did not see this one first lol. As it is, I still like it enough for what it is. Is it a bad movie like many of the fandom says? No, not even close to a bad movie. I would say it's in between entertaining enough and good. We definitely see a lot of familiar faces here: Woody Harrelson, Khaleesi, Troy from Community, and Jarvis (Tony Stark's original AI)/Vision from the MCU (I'm sure I'm forgetting some people too lol). My favorite character is L3, which is ironic since she's only in less than half the movie lol. This is my second time watching this movie and I like it about the same as I did the first time. I'm glad you liked the movie. Onto Rogue One!
