Since you asked: Thor is one of the Norse Gods from Norse Mythology, similar to Greek, Roman or Egyptian Gods. Marvel's not the first to use them as characters, surely won't be the last 😄

Fun fact: In Norse mythology, Thor and Loki aren't brothers and definitely don't hang out as much as they do in the MCU lol. In fact, Loki is really Odin's friend. Also, Hela from Thor: Ragnarok isn't a sister to Thor and Loki in Norse mythology. She's actually Loki's daughter. Let's just say that the MCU had a lot of liberties taken in regards to Norse mythology lol
