Okay, so true facts. Instead of getting sleep this morning, I ended up trawling along my tumblr and looking at my older art. I drew a lot of pictures I didn't remember drawing. And some of them were pretty good! There are things in here that I would fix had I the gumption to go over it again but I think the overall expression and image are very nice. The lithe figure contrasted with the heavy armor is a successful look and reminds me how even though I'm looking forward to seeing the new designs of Destiny 2, I'll miss the old favorites.

There's still the possibility of taking all the concept art I had and making a proper Destiny fan comic but that could be a long time from now.

Anyway, what kept me up all night wasn't just looking through the art. Today I installed the newer Xkit and added an extension that allows me to see all those little tags that tumblr people like to put on posts instead of comments. It's called "retag" for the people that are interested. It's at least available on NewXkit in the Chrome extension library.

I love comments, I love reading comments on my pics. But tumblr users have this weird habit of writing a lot of their comments in the invisible tags. So now, with Retag, I was able to see all their cute little additions to the pic that make it more memorable to them. You find less of those on popular franchises. People just using tags to organize those pictures. But on more obscure characters or characters that people have a DEEP fandom love for, the tags are often hilarious and endearing.

Just please tumblr, stop hiding them in tags!
