Just Stretching (Patreon)

This is an older picture of one of Satellite9's original characters who pairs up with her character Austin Space. Have I mentioned these guys before? I believe I must've. Unfortunately I really have a hard time remembering everything. I wish I did remember more, but a lot of that is apparently dedicated to remembering how to do a 6 hit combo with Jin Kazama in Tekken 3...

Anyway, she's Cayde. She has three arms. I actually don't draw her as much as I would if she had two arms. The reason is simple. I'm really bad at drawing hands. So often if I'm working fast, I'll do what I can to just... fudge it. It's a real weakness of mine.

I'm starting to realize it's not so much my knowledge of how a hand works. It's more just knowing how to draw them without making each segment look odd and disjointed from each other. I'd really like to get to drawing elegant hands that aren't completely faked either.

Also we're going back to 8pm eastern. I tried 5 am to see what would happen if a pic was just available all day and simply less people saw it, according to patreon statistics. Ah well.
