Mass Effect Drawings - Siwa, Tali & Friends (Patreon)

more Mass Effect drawings have escaped from my brain as I work on more important things... the first few were prompted by a friend suggesting I draw Siwa Rusk the volus in the color palette from a photo of a paella I'd posted to tumblr. The photo of the paella and the palette I made from it (using Photoshop's "crystallize" filter) are visible in the third picture, which also has an alternate, earlier version of Siwa's party outfit.

Fourth image: initial sketch with perspective lines and reference images for a drawing of Siwa and her quarian friend Kesh'Vataar enjoying a night out on the town on the Silversun Strip. I loved drawing the night market picture I finished in April, and I've been wanting to do a similar one ever since.

Fifth image: my redesign of Tali, as a little kid-- maybe a picture Rael'Zorah keeps at his desk while he's working on secret taboo AI projects. 

Sixth image: rough sketch for what I hope will become a picture of Shepard and Tali on Rannoch, during That Scene in ME3 where Tali takes off her helmet's faceplate and breathes in her ancestral homeworld's air for the first time.

Seventh image: secret 🌶very spicy🌶 (caution!!!!!!!!!!) drawing of Siwa and her new krogan friend from the party-- a friend remarked on how the krogan looked like they were sweetly holding her drink in the comic, and one idea led to another, and god did not stop me. Sometimes you're a big scary space dragon and you want to be seduced by a little manatee-looking woman who makes bad jokes. Sometimes that's just how it is.
