Certainly more grounded and serious than I expected, but honestly I was just as engaged in the dramatic story and character developments as the levity.

Not only are officers in this movie good people, when the events in the sequel kick off, Axel Foley and Lt. Bogomil (Ronny Cox from Robocop and Total Recall) are about to take a fishing trip together. This is one of the rare series of movies where the actor plays a good guy. It's kind of refreshing.

Wow, Mike from BB has been cold as ice since the 80s! They must have cast that actor based off this film. Those dead eyes...haha. And I was thrown by that murder too cause I thought this was a straight comedy as well. I actually tried watching this as a kid but there was too much cursing 😂 Anyway, I'm enjoying so far and I like that it has that detective feel. Plus I love the setting of Beverly Hills. Looks like a nice place to live and so nostalgic! Thanks for choosing this one Thor :)
