Is there a plan to preserve this for the future? Maybe in, say 20 years time do it once over, with the latest insights, when this war is 100 years old?

An important point about the Battle of the Philippine Sea that wasn't mentioned, Spruance's decision to stay close to Guam meant he could keep fighters over Guam during the battle. This kept Japanese planes based there on the ground while meeting any of Ozawa's survivors. This is from memory, but I think it is accurate. This was the "Decisive" battle in the Pacific that both navies had been preparing for for decades, but it looked nothing like what they were expecting and the Americans didn't appreciate the severity of the IJN pilot shortage at the time, so everyone, including Spruace, second guessed what was the key naval victory of the war.
