remember centaurworld? kimiko glenn is who voiced the horse in that one song, and also voiced a character in mlp g5 movie, and is now voicing nifty in hazbin hotel!

The series has a true biblical basis. Based on the intro story telling at the beginning and some supporting factors. And yes, all voices were re-casted to Broadway talent. However, they tried their best to find the closest voices they could.

Most if not all the voice actors are different from the pilot. They do sound similar though.

Demons are born in hell, that's where they live because they can't live anywhere else. There are "good" demons and there are bad, but that doesn't mean the "good" ones should be in heaven. I am guessing it's the same for angels. Charlie would be half angel, but since her father is Lucifer and she was born in hell, that's where she lives

To also add to what you said, sinners were once humans, but fell down to hell. And hellborn, such as Charlie, are born there and as a princess she likely would grow up away from the bad, which is why she's like this

Hellborn demons include imps, hellhounds, ars goetia like Stolas and the Sins like Asmodeus or Mammon. Basically the entire cast of Helluva. These types of demons are born and raised in hell and didn't do anything to be "sent" there. Charlie included. Then you have the sinners, human souls, who're the targets of the extermination.
