Ooooohhhh! That IS a fun color! And a unique one too, not one often seen in non plant based transformations much less bimbos that aren't related to St. Patrick's Day. Also I could imagine her saying something along the lines of: "Oh my gawd you know that Rich dude Byland? He's SOOOOO hot and he's got all the money a girl could DREAM of! He keeps talking about "going back to normal" or something though. I'm just like "*giggle* Whatever you say hunk!" But it seems to make him upset which makes NO sense! Men usually live when I giggle at whatevs they are saying! But I guess he's totes confusing to balance out being sooooooo perfect! OMG!"

Also I agree at being surprised that this isn't the Epilogue. Unless this IS the epilogue and it's just not called that. What happened on the pier feels pretty "end"-y.

Well, Kobi did claim that unless something crazy occurs, then this should be the final chapter of Brightshore, in which by all accounts, the most major things to expect from this supposed final chapter would be a flashback of how Byland even found and get possessed by the book, since the book keeps insisting on how it’s just like how he always desired it, a final fight between Byland and the Book, which is assuming that the book is not immediately finished yet, and just weeks upon weeks of wondering if Brightshore will be saved, or if it’s eternal stasis of Bimbofication will remain perpetuated.

Meanwhile, Byland is just a bit too exasperated, but mostly exhausted to even at least to attempt on trying and playing along, because he’s much more focused on contemplating on how his own foolish mistakes seem to have lead to permanently altering the Bernice that he once knew, and even as well as there being just the shred of a possibility that she’s now gone forever.
