---1/2---

Odin shook his head, "Heimdall's abilities also have limitations. There are many places that can block his vision, and where Loki fell, there's hardly any hope of survival."

Hearing Odin's words, Frigga's face showed a sorrowful expression. She had always liked Loki, and she never thought he would end up in such a state.

After comforting his wife, Odin summoned the three warriors of Asgard and Sif, ordering them to lead troops from Asgard, board a spaceship, and head to Jotunheim to support Thor.

...

As a burst of radiance flashed, Charles and Thor were teleported to Jotunheim, but their landing spot was in a ruin.

After arriving, Charles and Thor looked around at the surroundings. There was a massive and recently formed crater, now covered in ice. Charles asked, "Where is this in Jotunheim?"

Thor looked around and stepped on the icy ground, uncertainly saying, "This should be the dwelling place of the Frost Giants. However, this place seems to be the location hit by the Rainbow Bridge last month."

Indeed, the buildings constructed by the Frost Giants around were all turned into ruins in the brief seconds of the Rainbow Bridge's bombardment. Many Frost Giants died, and those who survived fled under the leadership of the new king.

With snowflakes drifting in the sky, the biting cold wind blew towards them. Thor spoke, "Let's first investigate the enemy's traces and find out where their main forces are."

Charles looked at Thor, asking, "Do you know the direction of the Mountain Giants? We should head in that direction."

During their conversation, a Frost Giant performing a memorial ceremony for his parents noticed Thor and Charles below. He didn't recognize Charles, but he immediately identified Thor, having witnessed him causing trouble here last time.

Seeing Thor and Charles, the Frost Giant's face showed a malicious expression. Asgardians destroyed his home and caused the death of his family.

He quietly retreated and quickly ran towards the base to inform the king: Thor Odinson had returned.

Thor, hearing Charles's words, thought for a moment about the information he had regarding Jotunheim.

A river called Ivingard separated the Frost Giants and the Mountain Giants. One side was icy mountains and snow, while the other side featured cliffs, scattered rocks, and desolate forests.

Thor determined a direction, pointed ahead, and said, "We'll keep walking in this direction. We should find the Ivingard River, and on the other side is where the Mountain Giants are."

Looking in the direction Thor pointed, Charles took a quick glance and said, "Alright!"

Then, Charles closed his eyes momentarily. When he opened them, he shouted internally, "Byakugan: Open!"

In an instant, Charles's Byakugan activated, veins bulging around his eyes as they turned completely white.

As Charles opened his Byakugan, the world in his vision changed, allowing him to see through obstacles and sense chakra flow.

In Charles's eyes, the world turned into shades of black and white, providing a 360-degree panoramic view without any blind spots.

Beside him, Thor appeared as a massive energy entity under the Byakugan's influence. As Charles gazed into the distance, the range of his perception expanded continuously: one kilometer, three kilometers, five kilometers, eight kilometers, and finally stopped at ten kilometers.

When the distance reached a radius of ten kilometers, Charles nodded in satisfaction. It seemed that the recent bloodline evolution had enhanced his Byakugan's abilities.

Expanding the Byakugan's perception, Charles spotted a Frost Giant. Due to losing the Casket of Ancient Winters, this particular one had not undergone giantification and stood at a height of only about three meters.

The Frost Giant, discovered by Charles, was currently sprinting towards the direction of their camp. It was about to exit the range of the Byakugan. Charles said, "Come with me. I found a Frost Giant; perhaps he can lead us to their new lair."

Thor looked at the changes in Charles's eyes with curiosity. He didn't realize that Charles had such an ability before.

"Alright!"

Thor's response was concise. He followed Charles as they ran towards the distant figure.

...

The Frost Giant was using both its hands and feet, running at full speed. Filled with anger, it wished to inform the camp before Thor and Charles leave the place.

Without the Rainbow Bridge, Odin couldn't come to the rescue immediately. This time, they had to keep Thor behind and seek revenge for their fallen comrades.

Under the influence of rage, the Frost Giant reached its maximum speed, running faster than ever before in his lifetime.

Charles used Merlin's magic to cloak himself and Thor, staying invisible as they followed at a distance of nine kilometers. This way, they wouldn't be detected, and their target wouldn't change direction.

After running for a while, Thor hadn't seen the Frost Giant that Charles mentioned. He curiously asked, "Charles, are you sure you didn't make a mistake? We've run quite far, and there's not a trace of anyone."

"He's 9 kilometers ahead of us, and he's been moving at high speed. Just now, he definitely noticed us on the crater; otherwise, he wouldn't be running so fast. Follow him, and we'll quickly find their location."

Thor shook his hammer, Mjolnir, expressing his disinterest in running. He preferred flying with the hammer, finding it more convenient and less tiring.

However, Charles warned him not to alert the Frost Giant prematurely, as it might cost them the opportunity to locate the Frost Giant's lair quickly.

Thus, the two followed behind the Frost Giant, running all the way. The Frost Giant ran ahead, while Charles and Thor remained invisible, trailing behind. It was uncertain how much time had passed.

Finally, before his strength gave out, the Frost Giant ran back to the entrance of the new camp and collapsed at the gate due to exhaustion.

Even though he fell to the ground, he continued shouting, "Thor Odinson is coming, Thor Odinson is coming!"

His cries immediately alarmed the Frost Giants in the camp. One of them hurriedly approached and helped Gall, the fallen Frost Giant, asking, "Gall, are you sure about what you're saying?"

"I just returned to the old site of the palace to mourn my parents. I saw Thor Odinson and a stranger there."

"It’s really Thor Odinson; I wouldn't be mistaken!"
