Hi everyone! Hope you enjoyed last week's video :D I'm here to tell you guys that a brand new deep dive is coming (hopefully) within the next week-ish...

A DEEP DIVE/THE RISE AND FALL OF CLUB PENGUIN!

Club Penguin was by far one of the most popular and iconic virtual online worlds, and I always knew that I wanted to cover it at some point given how much of it I played as a kid. But little did I know that the story of Club Penguin, ESPECIALLY towards the end of it's existence, is filled with super bizarre drama. Not only did Club Penguin close down to make way for an app version of the game which immediately failed and caused the sudden layoffs of tons of employees, but in the aftermath tons of 'remake' servers started up and... oh boy. If you've heard about this you probably know but these privately run servers were incredibly dodgy and some really disgusting people were doing some really disgusting things in these servers- it all culminated in Disney themself AND the police getting involved!! It's truly crazy, so I'm excited to share the entire history and scandals of the game, while still revisiting some of the most nostalgic gameplay for old time's sake.
