No, his first kill was in the first one. He and Meriadoc took down a few orcs with Boromir. She wouldn't have been able to because 'man' in that context meant human. When Meri stabbed him, with a special sword that is talked about in the books, he became vulnerable to even humans so Eowyn finished him off

I guess I’ll mention it now- Shelob was in Two Towers the book. They wisely decided to throw her in the third movie so Frodo and Sam would have more to do than just “walk to a volcano” 🌋 Also, might I say? You doubted King Theoden in the last one. It was the one time Gandalf was wrong! Besides bumping his head at Bilbo’s house… or trusting Saruman I guess. Anyway, Theoden was right to lead his people to Helms Deep. The orcs would have wiped out people of Rohan if not. The only drawback was when they got overconfident before the big boom booms were set off. Oh yeah, no elves came to Helms Deep either although Legolas wished for them in the book. Gimli also wished for some dwarf backup.
