🌋🐢🔥 Where depths swallow light, and pressures crush with might, there rests Ga, the Molten Shell, dormant in the ocean's night. Not guardian, not fiend, but balance it keeps, in silence beneath the waves it sleeps.

When great threats rise and break the peace of deep, Ga's eyes open, from slumber it leaps. Its breath, a molten forge, a fiery sweep, against those who disturb the watery keep.

The ocean's floor trembles, the sea boils in fear, as Ga, the ageless sentinel, makes its power clear. In riddle and wrath, it wields the earth's core, a force not of malice, but a protector, nothing more. 🌋🐢🔥

Traits

Amphibious. Ga can breathe air and water.

Volcanic Eruption. When Ga is reduced to 0 hit points, it doesn't die outright. Instead, it falls prone and its body begins to glow intensely as it triggers a Volcanic Eruption. Each creature within a 100-foot radius centered on Ga must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 35 (10d6) bludgeoning damage plus 35 (10d6) fire damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half the damage and isn't knocked prone. After this eruption, Ga regains 100 hit points and rises with its pyroclastic breath weapon recharged.

Actions

Multiattack. Ga makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws. It can make one tail attack in place of its two claw attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 15 ft.,

one target. Hit: 27 (3d12 + 8) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage..

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d8 + 8) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 27 (3d12 + 8) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 10 feet away from Ga and knocked prone.

Pyroclastic Breath (Recharge 5-6). Ga exhales a blast of superheated gas and volcanic shards in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 35 (10d6) fire damage plus 35 (10d6) force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature standing on solid ground must also make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or become restrained as the ground beneath them melts, adhering to their feet. A restrained creature can use its action to make a DC 18 Strength saving throw, freeing itself on a success.

Legendary Actions

Ga can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Ga regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Tail Swipe. Ga makes a tail attack.

Roiling Magma (Costs 2 Actions). Ga causes the magma within its body to surge, causing the ground in a 20-foot radius centered on itself to become difficult terrain. Creatures within that area must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (4d6) fire damage, as fiery magma splashes onto them.

Molten Recovery (Costs 3 Actions). Ga regains 30 hit points.
