⚒️🧟✨ In the moonlit stillness of the old graveyard, your party treads cautiously among the ancient tombstones, their edges softened by time. The air is thick with the scent of moss and forgotten memories. As you move deeper, a particular gravesite draws your attention. Surrounded by a circle of protective runes and bathed in a faint, ethereal glow, lies the "Gravekeeper's Gavel." Its head, carved in the image of a tombstone, radiates a solemn energy. Despite the eerie surroundings, there's a sense of peace around it, as if it stands as a guardian against the unrestful spirits that roam the graveyard. The weapon seems to almost beckon to the righteous among you, promising the power to lay to rest those who disturb the eternal slumber. ⚒️🧟✨

Gravekeeper's Gavel

Weapon (maul), rare (requires attunement by a cleric)

This imposing maul is crafted from stone and metal, with a head shaped like an intricately carved tombstone. Angelic figures and mournful epitaphs adorn its surface, and it carries the solemn power to protect the rest of the departed.

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. If you have 5 or more levels in the cleric class, the bonus increases to +3 against undead targets.

Upon attunement, you gain proficiency with this maul.

Restful Aura. While attuned to this weapon, you can use an action to cast the sanctuary spell from it. Once you cast sanctuary with the maul, you can't cast it again from the maul until the next dawn.

Eternal Rest. If you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with an attack from this weapon, the creature is turned to dust and cannot be revived by any means short of a true resurrection spell.
