Darkspire Siegebow

Weapon (heavy crossbow), uncommon (requires attunement)

Its limbs is crafted from a dark metal alloy and the bow's spine etched with sigils of destruction. It feels surprisingly balanced in hand, despite its intimidating structure.

This heavy crossbow is designed to demolish fortifications. It deals double damage to objects and structures. Additionally, when you score a critical hit with it, it deals an extra 2d10 damage, and the bolt shatters upon impact. All creatures within 5 feet of the target must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 14) or take 2d4 piercing damage from the shrapnel. On a successful save, they take half as much damage.
