🐉🪓🐲 The Wyrmkin Sunderer is a sturdy axe found in a dragon's hoard, not ancient but still old enough to have absorbed some draconic essence. The double blades, designed in the shape of dragon heads, suggest it was crafted by a dragon enthusiast or by someone with a deep respect for these mighty creatures. 🐉🪓🐲

Wyrmkin Sunderer

Weapon (any axe), uncommon (requires attunement)

The axe's double blades are each shaped in the likeness of a dragon's head, with their mouths agape as if roaring.

The weapon holds up to 3 charges, and it gains 1 charge whenever you hit a creature with it. These charges last for 1 minute. When you hit with the weapon, you can expend one charge to deal an additional 1d12 slashing damage to the target.

When you hit with the weapon while it has 3 charges, it releases a powerful roar. Each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you that can hear the roar must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 14) or become frightened for 1 minute as if by the fear spell. Once a creature succeeds on this saving throw or the effect on it ends, it is immune to the roar of the Wyrmkin Sunderer for the next 24 hours. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with the fright ending on a successful save.

The weapon loses all charges after the roar is released.
