Suddenly, a robed figure emerges from the shadows, his hands weaving intricate patterns in the air, and with a subtle incantation, a shimmering array of mirrors materializes and begins orbiting around him.

You recognize this as a defensive spell and brace yourself for the confrontation. Your wizard, sensing an opportunity, unleashes a bolt of crackling energy towards the figure—a Fire Bolt spell aimed straight at the heart. But as the spell reaches the whirling mirrors, it misses its target, deflected by the magical barrier.

Greel's Mirror Mischief

3rd-Level Abjuration

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Self (15-foot radius)

Components: V, S, M (a small shard of mirror)

Duration: 1 minute

Classes: Wizard

When you cast this spell, you conjure a protective array of magical mirrors that orbit around you. These mirrors form a barrier that seeks to neutralize incoming ranged spell attacks within a 15-foot radius of you.

Whenever a creature within 15 feet of you is targeted by a ranged spell attack and the attack misses, you can use your reaction to redirect the spell. You must choose a new target for the spell, which must be within the range of the original attack and visible to you.

Roll a d20 to determine if the spell can be redirected. On a roll of 11 or higher, the magical mirrors capture the energy of the missed spell and reflect it towards the new target, using the original attack roll.
