🌓✨🔮 The Half-Moon Robe is said to be the creation of a mystical circle of skygazers, enchanters who looked to the heavens for inspiration. These mages believed in the potential of the lunar cycle to influence magical energies, and they sought to weave this power into a tangible form. On nights when the half-moon hung like a celestial arch in the sky, they performed their most sacred enchantments. 🌓✨🔮

Half-Moon Robe

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)

This robe, dyed the deep blue of a twilight sky, is adorned with a single silver crescent reminiscent of the half-moon. It is stitched with silvery thread that glimmers like stars when moonlight touches the fabric.

This robe possesses 2 charges, which are restored to full at midnight. As an action, you can expend one charge to summon a spectral half-moon that floats above you. Summoning the half-moon requires your concentration, as if concentrating on a spell.

Within the next 3 turns, as an action, you can direct the half-moon to a specific location within a range of 120 feet. Upon reaching the designated point, the half-moon detonates in a cascade of radiant energy. Creatures within a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take radiant damage. The save DC starts at 14 and increases by 1 for each turn spent concentrating on the half-moon, to a maximum of DC 16 on the third turn.

The damage dealt by the burst is 4d8 radiant damage if released on the turn it is summoned. If you wait until the second turn, the damage increases to 6d8 radiant damage, and if released on the third turn, it increases to 8d8 radiant damage. A creature takes full damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
