💀⚡🌀 This wand was crafted from the skeletal remains of a spellcaster who met their end by an uncontrolled burst of eldritch energy. The wand is a remnant of a dark ritual, where the spellcaster's bones were repurposed by a cabal of warlocks seeking to channel the raw force of the eldritch blast. It is said that each wand carries a whisper of the spellcaster's final, desperate act of power.

As you hold the wand, a chill reminiscent of the spellcaster's last moments can sometimes be felt creeping across your hand, a stark reminder of the dangerous energy it wields. 💀⚡🌀

Wand of Eldritch Detonation

Wand, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)

This foreboding wand is made from the fused bones of an unknown creature, wrapped in purple bands that pulsate with eldritch energy.

While attuned to this wand, you learn the eldritch blast cantrip if you do not already know it. When you cast it using this wand, you use Charisma as your spellcasting ability for it.

The Wand of Eldritch Detonation has 7 charges and regains 1d6 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand's last charge, roll a d20. On a 20, the wand regains all its charges; on a 1, the wand crumbles into ashes and is destroyed.

When you use the wand to cast eldritch blast and reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can expend 1 charge to cause a pulse of necrotic energy to emanate from the corpse. Each creature within 5 feet of the corpse must make a Dexterity saving throw ( spell save DC 14). On a failed save, a creature takes necrotic damage equal to half the damage dealt (rounded down) by the eldritch blast that reduced the creature to 0 hit points. On a successful save, the creature takes no damage from this effect.

Curse. This wand is cursed, a fact that is revealed only when an identify spell is cast on the item or you attune to it. Attuning to the wand curses you until you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic; the curse extends to the eldritch blast cantrip learned from the wand. While cursed, you feel an incessant whispering in your mind whenever you hold the wand, making it hard to concentrate. After you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you must succeed on a Charisma saving throw (DC 10) or be unable to cast another spell other than eldritch blast until the end of your next turn.
