🌙💤🛡️ A grand hall in the royal castle, banners hanging, and the room filled with courtiers and guards. At the center of the room, on a raised platform, sits King Plumpkin, a rotund man with shiny jewelry all over.

King Plumpkin: "Ah, brave heroes! You saved me from those sneaky goblins! I must give you a reward that matches your bravery!"

He snaps his fingers, and a servant brings forth a gleaming set of padded armor, shimmering under the torchlight, adorned with little crescent moons and stars. It looks incredibly comfortable and soft.

King Plumpkin, with a twinkle in his eye: "This, dear heroes, is my special sleeping armor! Rain, storm, or a noisy market - nothing will disturb your sleep. And there's a bonus; it comes with a magic trick that can send your enemies off to dreamland."

One of the heroes, feeling the soft lining: "This is amazing, Your Majesty! It feels like a cloud. And making enemies sleep? That's a handy trick!"

King Plumpkin, chuckling: "Just my fun way of saying thanks for kicking those goblins out. Wear it in good health. And now, let the feast begin! Who's hungry?" 🌙💤🛡️

Restful Knightwear

Armor (padded), uncommon (requires attunement)

This armor is a blend of comfort and protection. The soft inner lining ensures the wearer enjoys the solace of a peaceful slumber.

While wearing this armor, you can take the benefits of a long rest without any repercussions. You gain the ability to cast the sleep spell at its lowest level without expending a spell slot or material components. Creatures affected by the sleep spell cast using this armor's ability undergo a deeper sleep. If such a creature takes damage while asleep, it must make a Wisdom saving throw with a DC equal to 15 minus the damage taken or remain asleep. This effect does not alter the duration of the sleep spell.

You regain the ability to cast sleep in this way again after a long rest.
