🌊💧🌀 Waters were not merely lifeless expanses, but teemed with spirits and consciousness, manifesting as the powerful water elementals. These beings, ethereal and profound, danced upon the waves, surged within the deepest trenches, and whispered secrets to the moonlit shores.

Among them was the elder elemental, Nautilus, who had seen countless tides come and go and knew the oceans' every secret. Distressed by the growing divide between the land-dwelling creatures and the wonders of the water realms, Nautilus sought to bridge this gap. In collaboration with gifted sea witches and wise merfolk enchanters, Nautilus imbued fragments of the sea's essence into crafted garments. These became the Robes of Seas.

Those who wore the robe felt the vastness of the oceans, the caress of gentle currents, and the fury of tempests. They could hear the lullabies sung by mermaids and understood the ancient dialect of the leviathans. With the robe embracing them, the wearers became attuned to the deepest energies of the seas, able to harness its raw elemental power and invoke water-based magics with unprecedented finesse.

Over time, the knowledge of these robes faded, much like footprints on a sandy beach. Yet, those who truly understand the sea's rhythm, who listen to its murmurs and respect its might, may just find their path leading to one of these coveted robes, ready to reveal the ocean's mysteries once again. 🌊💧🌀

Robe of Seas

Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)

This shimmering blue robe flows and ripples like the surface of a calm ocean. The intricate patterns on it resemble cascading waves and spiraling water vortexes.

While wearing the robe, you can breath underwater and by using an action, you can transform yourself into a water-like gaseous form. In this state:

  • You are immune to bludgeoning damage.
  • The robe has 20 charges. You can use these charges to cast water- or cold-based spells without the need for verbal, somatic, or material components, expending one charge per spell level. Water- or cold-based cantrips can be cast without expending charges.
  • You need to maintain concentration on this form as if concentrating on a spell.
  • You can remain in this form for up to 10 minutes, after which you revert to your normal form.

Once you use this property, you cannot use it again until the next dawn.
