When swung, minute particles of golden sand appear to trail in its wake, a visual spectacle that bewilders foes and dazzles allies alike.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls made with this magic weapon.

Shifting Sands. Once per long rest, you may use an action to summon a sandstorm in a 20-foot-radius sphere, centered on a point within 60 feet. The sphere, permeating around corners and heavily obscuring its area, endures for 1 minute or until dispersed by a moderate or stronger wind. Upon its appearance, creatures within the sphere must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 14) or be restrained by tempestuous sands until the sandstorm concludes. Creatures restrained by the sands sustain 1d6 slashing damage at the start of their subsequent turns.
