🛠️👓⚡Hello fellow tinkerers, gadgeteers, and curiosity seekers!

It's your friendly neighborhood gnome, Tillo Twinkletoes, and I just had to take a moment from my latest project to share a little teaser with you. You won't believe the piece of brilliance I've just gotten my hands on!

You know those late nights in the workshop, right? The ones where your invention is almost there but just needs that extra jolt of inspiration? Well, let's just say I've discovered something that makes those moments even more electrifying.

Behold, the Gnomelight Goggles!

Oh, I won't spoil all their secrets just yet, but let's just say these aren't your average pair of spectacles. Ever since I've put them on, my creations have been sparking to life in ways I could never have imagined. There’s a certain... current of genius flowing through them.

Stay tuned for more tales of my tinkering escapades with these wondrous goggles. But for now, back to the workshop! There’s innovation to be done, and with the Gnomelight Goggles, the sky's the limit!

Keep tinkering and dreaming, Tillo Twinkletoes 🛠️👓⚡

Gnomelight Goggles

Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by someone proficient with tinker's tools)

When worn, these goggles grant their user a unique blend of vision and tinkering capability inspired by the creativity of gnomish engineering and the raw power of lightning.

Electric Sight. When worn, these goggles allow the wearer to see electric currents and charges, including naturally occurring ones such as static, within a range of 60 feet. This includes detecting creatures with an electric charge, such as shocker lizards or blue dragons, and also allows the user to see the path of electric traps, or devices powered by electricity (GM’s discretion).

Tinker's Surge. Once per day, while working with tinker's tools, the wearer can channel the goggles’ stored electrical energy to supercharge their tinkering. For the next 10 minutes, any tinkering task's duration is halved, and the quality of the crafted or repaired item is improved, granting it +1 to any rolls made using it until it breaks or for 24 hours, whichever comes first.

Lightning Repair. As an action, the wearer can release a controlled burst of electrical energy to instantly repair a broken mechanical or metal item held in their hands. The item can't be larger than a 10-foot cube. Using this property consumes the goggles' energy, rendering all its properties inert until next dawn.

Static Discharge. As a reaction when hit by a melee attack, the wearer can discharge a burst of electricity, dealing 1d8 lightning damage to the attacker. After using this property, it can't be used again until next dawn.
