⚔️🌞☀️Inspired by tales of ancient sun deities and their fierce dominion over the sky, he embarked on a divine quest, traveling to the world's highest peaks and most sacred temples. With the blessings of sun priests and the wisdom of celestial scholars, he melded the sun's brilliance with fiery bronze, creating a weapon that echoed the sun's dual nature: its nurturing warmth and its destructive fury. Today, the Sunfire Morningstar stands as a testament to that unparalleled craftsmanship, sought after by warriors and sun worshipers alike. In battle, its presence evokes the dance of daybreak, a radiant ballet that few have the honor to witness. ⚔️🌞☀️

Sunfire Morningstar

Weapon (morningstar), legendary (requires attunement)

Crafted from radiant bronze, this morningstar boasts a fervent miniature sun at its helm, encircled by fiery spikes. The handle, engraved with ascending sun motifs.

Solar Nova. When you land a critical hit with this weapon, the contained power of the sun bursts forth. The target struck by the critical hit is immediately scorched with an additional 3d6 fire damage and 3d6 radiant damage. Simultaneously, creatures within a 15-foot radius of the target experience the sun’s progressive warmth. On the first round, the nurturing sun grants allies within the radius temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus. By the second round, the sun's gravitational might pulls all creatures, friend or foe, closer to the point of impact. Those who cannot resist this forceful pull are drawn 10 feet closer and, upon collision, suffer 4d10 bludgeoning damage. Come the third round, the sun, unable to sustain its intensity, implodes, emitting a brilliant flash that blinds foes for 1 minute, unless they succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 20).
