Amulet of the Frostbound Heart

Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)

At first glance, the Amulet of the Frostbound Heart might appear as a simple piece of jewelry. Its centerpiece, a deeply-hued blue crystal, captures the essence of winter's chill, radiating a soft, cold light that seems to emanate from its core. This gem is cradled within an ornate silver setting, reminiscent of delicate frost patterns seen on a cold winter's morning.

Heart of Winter. While wearing this amulet, you have resistance to cold damage.

Glacial Touch. As an action, you can touch a water source with the amulet, freezing up to a 5-foot cube of water. This effect can be used to create bridges over small streams or to trap creatures beneath ice.

Chill Wind. As an action and by invoking the amulet's command word, you can cast the Gust of Wind spell, with a wintry modification. Any creature that starts its turn within the line of the gust takes an additional 3d6 cold damage from the biting winds. When you cast the spell using the amulet, you use your spellcasting ability for the spell save DC, and you don't require material components. You regain the ability to activate this effect at dawn.

Frozen Resilience. If you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can use the amulet to draw upon its icy power. You instantly stabilize and gain hit points equal to your three times your Constitution modifier. After using this property, you can't use it again until the next dawn.
