Boots of the Lost Knight

Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement)

Fashioned from dusky leather and adorned with silvered metal clasps.

Valor of Knighthood. As an action and upon uttering the command word, you invoke the boots' capabilities for 1 minute:

• Once per turn, when an ally within 5 feet of you is targeted by an attack, you can use your reaction to become the target of the attack instead.
• If you move at least 10 feet straight toward an enemy and then hit them with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 1d8 damage and must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 15) or be knocked prone.

Once activated, this ability cannot be used again until next dawn.
