🌄⚒🛡

Amid the winding tunnels and grand halls beneath the towering peaks lies the legacy of the Stoneheart Clan. Not known by all, but revered by those who understand the deep connection between dwarf and stone, these master craftsmen carve out their destiny with each swing of their hammer. Their garments, though familiar in form, carry an aura of the ancient world – a weight and significance echoed in the resonant clank of metal and the muted thud of stone.

Every member of this esteemed clan has, at least once, donned the revered Earthfather ensemble. A symbol of prestige, strength, and the unyielding spirit of the mountains, this attire is said to draw upon the very core of the world, turning its wearer into an embodiment of nature's undying resilience. Tales of their battles are not of individuals but of the earth itself retaliating.

For centuries, enemies of the Stoneheart have learned the hard way – to challenge them is not just to face a warrior. It is to face the wrath of the mountains.

Hammer of the Earthfather

Weapon (warhammer), uncommon (requires attunement)

This warhammer melds ancient dwarven runes with common forge arts. Its stone head, weighty and imposing, sits atop a twisted iron haft. Each strike resonates with the age-old songs of mountain cores and buried secrets.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Rune of the Earthfather. When you score a critical hit with this weapon, the target must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone as the earth beneath them trembles in response to the weapon's might.

Stone's Retribution. When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with this weapon, stone tendrils burst from the ground, forming a protective barrier around you. This barrier grants you half cover and lasts until the start of your next turn.

Hide of the Earthfather

Armor (hide), rare (requires attunement)

Crafted from hides sourced deep within the heart of elder mountains, this armor bears the rugged resilience. Embossed with forgotten dwarven glyphs, it promises the endurance of the towering peaks.

You gain a +1 bonus to AC and have advantage on saving throws against effects that would move you against your will, such as shove or trip attempts.

Echo of the Peaks. This armor has 3 charges, which it regains daily at dawn. As an action, you can expend 1 charge to release a powerful shout, echoing through the mountains of old. All enemies within a 10-foot radius must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 16) or become deafened until the end of your next turn.

As an alternative use of these charges, you can expend 2 charges to summon a stone guardian, reminiscent of ancient dwarven statues. The stone guardian acts as a defender, using the same statistics as an Animated Armor, but made of stone (gaining resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage). It remains animated for 10 minutes or until reduced to 0 hit points.

Silverforge Wristguards

Wondrous Item, uncommon

These broad silver bracers are more than mere adornments. To wear them is to feel the embrace of the mountain's core, lending the bearer the steadfast resolve of stone and the whispers of countless eons sealed beneath the earth.

Harmony of the Deep. By speaking the wristguard's command word and using an action as you touch a natural rock formation or stonework, you invoke the spirit of the earth, producing a harmonious melody that resembles the chimes of wind brushing past crystalline formations deep within a cavern. For the next 10 minutes, wild animals become indifferent to your presence unless they are provoked, you gain advantage on Animal Handling checks, and if you roll a 1 on a d20 for an Animal Handling check, you can reroll the die but must use the new result. You regain the ability to activate this ability at dawn.

Skullkeeper Girdle

Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement)

This macabre trophy, though its origins remain a secret, is accentuated by designs that bridge the gap between surface world aesthetics and the dwarven depths.

Aura of the Foreboding Predator. You exude an aura of ancient power, intimidating foes. You gain advantage on Intimidation checks. If you successfully intimidate a creature, the fearful realization of facing you overwhelms its senses. The next time you attack that creature until the end of your next turn, it takes additional psychic damage equal to the result of your Intimidation check.

2-Set Bonus: Earth's Resounding Strike

Whenever you deal bludgeoning damage, you harness the raw power of the earth beneath your feet, amplifying your blows. You deal an additional +1 bludgeoning damage.

4-Set Bonus: Mountains' Overwhelming Force

Your bond with the very essence of the mountains bolsters your might. Every third bludgeoning attack made in a single combat encounter resonates with the echoing roar of a distant avalanche. The target of your attack, as well as any enemy creatures within 5 feet of the target, must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 16) or be knocked prone, as the ground trembles beneath them.
