💀 🖤🗡️ Whispers from the shadows, tales of rogues who have danced with death and emerged intertwined. The Forsaken Whisperer is not just a title; it's a pact, an intimate bond with the unseen, the long departed, and the forbidden. The Forsaken Whisperer rogues are those who have brushed against death so intimately that they carry its mark, drawing power from their near-undead state. They specialize in utilizing deadly poisons, the decay of the grave, and the resilience of the undead. 💀 🖤🗡️

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unsettling Presence

Starting at 3rd level, the aura of undeath that surrounds you makes others uneasy. You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill. If you are already proficient, you can double your proficiency bonus.

Grave-Touched

At 3rd level, your body starts to show the signs of decay, making you resistant to the effects of death. You have advantage on saving throws against poison and death saving throws, and you have resistance against poison damage. When you make a death saving throw, if you roll a 1 on the d20, it counts as one failure. If you roll an 18-20 on the d20, you regain 1 hit point.

Deadly Toxins

Starting at 9th level, you have mastered the art of extracting deadly toxins from the remains of the departed. You gain proficiency with the poisoner's kit. With an minute of uninterrupted work using a humanoid corpse that has been dead for no longer than 24 hours, you can distill a potent poison.

Once distilled, as an action, you can apply this poison to your weapons, rendering them toxic for the next 10 minutes. The next time you strike a target with the poisoned weapons, it suffers an additional 6d8 poison damage and must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier. On a failed save, the target is poisoned for 1 minute.

Whisperer of the Dead

At 13th level, your connection with the undead allows you to call upon forsaken spirits for aid. As an action, you can summon 1d4 spirits, enabling you to see and hear through their senses. They can travel up to 500 feet away from you, passing through walls and objects. They remain for 10 minutes or until dismissed as a bonus action. Though they cannot interact with the physical world, their presence is palpable to you alone. Furthermore, as a reaction when you are hit by an attack, you can invoke these spirits to shield you, reducing the damage. Roll a number of d6s equal to your rogue level; you reduce the damage by the number rolled. However, invoking this protection disperses the forsaken spirits, ending any ongoing effects they were providing.

You regain the use of this feature after a long rest.

Reaper's Harvest

At 17th level, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with your sneak attack, you siphon their life force, regaining temporary hit points equal to the sneak attack damage you dealt.
