Which kinda of shadow you prefer the softed ones (A) or the hard ones (B)

To be honest I am getting bored of the softed shadows and want to do more hard ones

I like the soft shadow. The hard line on her face looks really weird to me in comparison.

I think the hard shadow makes more sense for something like this which is definitely an outdoor setting but with pieces like Ranni who is probably illuminated by a full moon, soft shadow makes more sense

both but in different areas: use them as a focal point of the iamge. I like how easy it is to look at the entire image but the hard shadows forces me all over the image.

I'll admit I had a hard time seeing the differences between soft and hard but when I did I had to admit hard shadows look better.
