Hello patrons, I promised to make a list of some terms I use, because some of you may not understand what I'm saying. I will keep updating the list so please, If you find anything new you don't understand, write down in the comments, so I can add it to the list ;))

1's - "ones" are referred to frames on timeline with playback time 1 frame, one picture or drawing per one frame on the timeline!

2's - "twos" are frames with playback time 2 frames, one drawing per 2 frames,  one drawing per 2 frames!  

3's, 4's, 5's... - frames with different playback

Ae - adobe after effects

animatic/animatik - video made from storyboard images, video footage, 3d or rough animation sequences, doesn't matter how, it's only purpose is to set up the visual for further development. It is also sometimes referred as "layout".

animation - well, moving pictures

Avid - or avid media composer, editing software

brush - drawing tool

CMYK - color space for printing

character design sheet - complex study, document used to help standardize the appearance, poses, and gestures.

codec - "wrapper" encoding device, like h264, Apple ProRez, DNxHD, PROHD...

color space - color range, system of visible colors

color depth - or bit depth, each pixel has it's own value on different depths, 8 bit has 256 colors per pixel, 10 bit 1024 and so on....

concept - plan, idea, sketch, definition...

CSP - Clip Studio Paint, drawing software or document

DAW - digital audio workstation (Pro Tools, Reaper, Adobe Audition...)

dissolve - transition between audio, video...

editing -  post production process, includes cutting, mixing, color correction...

frame - 1 video/animation picture

fps - frames per second, more fps - smoother the movement

FX - "effects"

GFX -  "graphics" 

GIF - image format which can store animation, good for logos or fap fap fap.....

h264 - vidoe codec

JPG - jpeg, image format

Layout - draft  

Ps - Adobe Photoshop

PSD - photoshop document

Pr - Adobe Premiere pro

PNG - image format, it can preserve transparency, best for web images (not good for video editing imo, it has the longest rendering and transcoding times...)

RGB -  red, green, blue, digital color space

rec709 - color space for video, movies, broadcast...

rec2020 - color space of future, 4K video, movies, broadcast... 

spacing - amount of space in animation, large space - fast movement

sRGB - color space for internet or digital media 

VFX -  "visual effects" 

TARGA, TGA - most simple image format, one of the best formats for video editing, fastest loading, transcoding and rendering times. 

TIFF - advanced, heavy image format, one of the best formats for printing, photography 

transcoding - video conversion, encoding process

timing - amount of time in animation, this going hand to hand with spacing, if timing doesn't work, it's necessary to change spacing or wise versa
