Sneak Peek Images - CL Large Waterwheel + Support (Patreon)

The other thing I've worked on today was adding the same kind of support to this larger waterwheel as I've added to the smaller one from the Get Together EP.

I've first tried adding the support to both sides, but as the other side of the waterwheel has this enormous hole in it (which also couldn't be hidden with the Axle-Hole replacement) and it can't be hidden with a support, I've decided to only add a support on the front side. In most cases this isn't that bad as you're probably placing this waterwheel against a wall any way.

One thing you can't decide for this waterwheel, is in which way the waterwheel will rotate, which ís possible with the GT waterwheel with supports on both sides. In that case you just rotate the waterwheel 180 degrees.

Recolors
My idea was to use the same recolors for the support as I made for the former waterwheel, but as you can see  on the images, the wood recolors don't match that well. Or at least the first one certainly doesn't. The other wooden ones might still be useable as they match a bit to the axle in the middle on the waterwheel..

So I will try to make at least one new wooden recolor. I'm not sure yet if that will be another brown-ish tone which fits better with the waterwheel color or an entire new wooden recolor.
