Patreon Update (September 2020) (Patreon)

Hi Hi, everyone!

This month has been a bit of a nightmare (lol). My work laptop broke, which slowed my video production to a crawl, hence the even longer delay than usual in releasing Eldritch Waifu. I've since set up a temporary solution, and I'll start sorting out a more permanent replacement for the poor thing.

Between trying to get the video out and finding a way to fix my tech woes, I've had less time to work on my other projects as well as staying on top of my inbox; I apologise for the radio silence! I hope to get back on top of things ASAP!

Eldritch Waifu has only been out for approximately a day, and I've received a lot of positive feedback about the ear eating/unintelligible whispers. I was very nervous about that aspect of the video, but I'd really like to practice it more in the future!

YouTube however does not support Eldritch monstrosities eating our ears. As such, I thank you as a patron for your support through these demonetized times ! 🙏

I also had to lock the Discord server down due to harassment/privacy threats. As such, it is now only open to Patreon Supporters. I will be looking into a way to open it to YouTube Supporters and future Twitch Subscribers as well, but in order to keep the community safe and for my own peace of mind public invites will be rare, if any. Should you choose to leave the server, the only way back in is through the Patreon account link.

But! 👏👏 Let's focus on the fun stuff!

First off, I'm currently taking a brief breather from roleplays by working on the 3Dio Trigger Word audio! There's a lot of words, so I'm estimating that this could, uh... be a long audio. Not quite QnA long, but longer than the usual 15-ish minutes! It'll be a more natural, casual feel, so I'm hoping it'll work as a nice relax aid.

After the Trigger Word audio I'm looking to work on the next two Request a Roleplay winners-- Date with Your Boss (Do it or You're Fired), and Ghost Roommate Wakes You Up at 3AM Because You're Out of Orange Juice. And yes, I am very excited about the silliness these two will contain. ✨

I also have an exciting announcement I made on Twitter and in my YouTube community tab, and I feel it only makes sense to touch on it here as well. I teased it last month for you with concept sketches, but I now have more official art to show off. So, I'd like to introduce--

Vivi VTuber! Vivi VTuber! Vivi VTuber!

The Live2D model will be done by ETA_un, and rigged by Iron Vertex, the same company who rigged Nyanners model! And the cool new logo is by 7MDigital!

She's currently still in development, so it will be another month or so before she can move around properly and be ready for streams, but she's coming along so beautifully I just had to share! 

I'll mostly be streaming with her on my new Twitch, but I'll also do milestone celebration livestreams on YouTube! I'm hoping to do ASMR livestreams, gaming livestreams, and anything else I can try! I'm really looking forward to hanging out with the community more!

I'm not sharing the full model just yet since only the base colours have been finished, but I'll share a l'il extra with you to get a taste--

Gonna have to keep some Rad-X on hand when watching these streams...

The first two livestreams I have planned are a Warhammer 40, 000: Space Marine stream to celebrate 40k subscribers, and a chill Animal Crossing Livestream (perhaps for my birthday next month?). These will both be on YouTube!
I'm not sure what I'll first stream on Twitch, but I'll be open to suggestions as we go along-- I've got a sizeable game library that needs to get played when I'm not drawing giant tiddies.

I've currently got two collaborations I've sent lines off for, one of which I'm also going to be doing art for~! Keep an eye on the community tab for when they release! 

Let me finish up by reminding all $15+ members that I will be collecting Request a Roleplay ideas for September soon. I'm also considering temporarily closing Request a Roleplay polls at the end of 2020 until I finish the current backlog, so if you're hoping to submit ideas, you have until December to throw your hat/idea in the ring!

Quick reminder that I am currently not accepting sequel/prequel requests, or licensed characters (the latter is a legal thing, sorry)!
