Patreon Update (July 2020) (Patreon)

Hi, everyone!

So, the year is half over, and as of this month, it's officially been one year since I started my Patreon! I'd like to take this moment to thank you in this moment for supporting me. Whether you've been here for a long time or a few days, you've helped me create so many wonderful things, and I am very grateful.

Last month, after many, many, many nights of pouring over expressions and dialogue and audio editing, I released the long awaited sequel to Yandere Best Friend. And while the public response was overwhelmingly positive, YouTube wasn't all too keen on our new girl...

I mean, she's never been that family friendly, so can we really be surprised?

According to other VAs/ASMRtists, YouTube is autoflagging videos as inappropriate and reviewing them rather harshly as COVID-19 is happening. Some of these videos are much more wholesome than Yandere Best Friend, so I can't say it was a complete shock that YouTube wasn't keen on monetizing her. Thanks to your support though, it wasn't too much of a hit to lose monetization on this video, and I'm very grateful!

My next video is another Request a Roleplay winner, the prequel to Succubus Wife. I have a fairly strong feeling that this video also won't be passing YouTube's screening process, so again, I really do appreciate your support this month in creating her. 

Currently the script is over half finished, and I've just finished her lineart and will begin colouring/shading tonight. There are no multiple expressions (I'm still exhausted from Yandere Best Friend) but there is an outfit change-- her traditional sweater, and the more traditional "succubus workwear." 

She's got GOAT legs? The more you know. 🌠

Once this video is done, I will be taking a small break from doing sequel videos. I do intend to bring back many of the characters I've created, however despite my satisfaction with Yandere Best Friend + Succubus Wife, I feel it's best I bring them back when I feel like I'm fully ready, rather than by popular vote.

I also began collecting words for the 3Dio Trigger Word video, which will be a simpler video to put together. I'd like to thank everyone who has submitted a word request, and I'm looking forward to attempting more traditional ASMR videos alongside my audio roleplays.

Last month I was part of three collaborations, one with Mother Macabre, another with CorruptedASMR (with a cameo from Gemini II Audio!), and one with LemonLeafASMR that is available in her Discord. 🌟 Be sure to check them out if you haven't had the chance yet!
I'm currently taking a small break from collaborations as I work on the Request a Roleplay audio winners, as well as working toward reopening limited commission slots. I hope to work with people again once I've gotten a little bit more off my plate!

Also, as I approach 40k subscribers, I am doing my best to work diligently as much as possible on improving my videos, as well as on my confidence so I can stream again once I no longer have to share the home office.

Like always, feel free to message me first if you have an idea already! Just a quick reminder that I won't be taking sequel/prequel requests, nor do I do videos with licensed characters (sorry)!
