So there are obviously a lot of things here at SH Inc that you need to be aware of as a manager.  Particularly in a mixed size office, there are ways you need to work with other employees in a way so that you can communicate effectively.

In this session we will cover managers of employees who are much smaller.

It is important that, as Shannon shows us here in the first two images, to level with your employees, particularly when delivering feedback.  Take your size out of the conversation and level set with them as equals.

It is imperative to not speak down to them, as this may come off as 'Threatening.'  Your message may not be heard and ultimately you may end up right back in the same situation because the employee was unable to correct the behavior.

It is also strongly advised that you do not threaten to smoosh the employee.  While yes, this can be effective way to rapidly course correct bad behavior, here at SH Inc we do not like managers to intimidate other employees... Though we do not have rules prohibiting the actions if the manager feels it is necessary.

Ultimately, we want you to be the best boss you can be!
