Ok, so first things first: LETTERS FROM SPACE CAMP has two new chapter-additions to it, DAY SEVEN and INTERLUDE. If you're already a patron at the Autobio Comics Tier, then this is kind of old news, sorry! But if you're not, then this is new news- you're welcome!

The rest of this post is about Lady LovelyLocks fanart.

LLL is a fantasy princess doll line released from 1986-1989 when I was the optimal age for imprinting on a fantasy princess doll line and, more specifically, the production artwork of Maria Gamiere who was the primary illustrator for the majority of the promotional materials. Can you guess just by looking at the above illustration which girl is our virtuous protagonist, Lady LovelyLocks with her magical Pixietails, and which is the evil "Jealous Beauty" (Actual tagline on the front of her box), Duchess RavenWaves and her mischievous Comb Gnomes?

In my heart, LLL and Duchess are hella gaybones for each other. (Bisexual gaybones, that is. Gotta get that bi rep into my fanship of this forgotten 80s toy property because representation 👏 matters 👏)

Heavy is the head that wears the Pixietails U_U

Do you remember the  poster for the 1990 movie Mermaids

BECAUSE I DO.

If you are new to this doll franchise that existed between 1986-1989, you may not recognize Maiden MistyCurls (a part-time mermaid), a Peek'n'Seek child-creature-thing and a LilyTops mer-seal-thing, who were all introduced in the second wave of LLL merchandise as part of the Enchanted Island line.

Obviously.

What would LLL's dress and hair look like in more specific time periods, like the late 18th century, 1820s, and 1860s?

I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED.

"Well, Erika, this was nice and oh so many layers of weird but would you look at the time, I should probably get go--"

DID I MENTION HOW I PRETEND LADY LOVELYLOCKS AND DUCHESS RAVENWAVES ARE (bisexual) GIRLFRIENDS WHO STARE (bisexually) INTO EACH OTHERS EYES

Obviously I don't have time to reply to any online correspondences because I am drawing all this high quality bisexual fanart of a retired thirty-year-old princess doll franchise for children, so, as always, if you actually need a response to something, please write to the responsible one in this business/marriage, Matt: matthewdanielnolan at gmail dot com

OH MY GOD you just punched me right in the nostalgia! I had a folding tv tray thing with this art as a kid but I never knew what it was from! It didn't say on the tray (or I don't remember), but I loved the art so much. Holy shit, thank you! Also I'm totally on board with them being in love
