Hey Squad - Big thanks to everyone for being here, I got a lot of warm messages and comments from people last video, and I just wanted to address those of you who might be worried that the shift from game dev to 3D art is not a personal choice, but one I'm just going a long with - And, that's not entirely true, so allow me to explain where I'm coming from and why -

Something I've realized as I started to close in and finish the game project is I don't think I'm a "true" programmer - I learned how to make a game on my own, but that doesn't make me a programmer, not when compared to the "actual" programmers I know in the industry that do it full time. And, I think that's OK -

I think it really became apparent when I realized if I had the choice to program for 8 hours, or sculpt a character for 8 hours, which would I prefer? And, when thinking about the question honestly, I definitely lean more towards spending that time creating a character over creating an engine or debugging glitches. It just so happens that most of the community also seems to be more interested in character design and 3d creation, and this is apparent when you compare the views on my 3D vids compared to my Unity vids.

That's why I decided to shift my time and focus into more thoroughly developing and sharpening my 3D character and animation abilities over my indie game programming abilities. I also would like to build up a more professional resume and art portfolio in order to apply for better positions in the future if given the opportunity - And, in order to do that I "really" have to step up my game when it comes to sculpting and modeling.

I have a long way to go when it comes to character creation, and I think I'm close enough to make it AAA level if I dedicate to it, so that's what I'd like to do, and If I can bring the community along on that journey in real time while I'm on it, I think people could have fun watching too as well.

So, please don't worry, I'm actually very happy and looking forward to the direction we'll be heading. I just have a better understanding where my abilities lie and I'm making a commitment to dive deeper and sharpen those skills - Hope that clears things up, and again, thank you so much for being here, and as always hope you have a Fantastic Day :)

Honestly, I trust your Blender expertise far more than anyone else I've found on YouTube, so as long as I can rely on you with any further (and rather randomly generated) 3D questions, the actual game dev stuff can be saved for a later date, or some other soul worth asking about it. On a side note, if I'm not mistaken, cheers to being reliable for the past 2 years for me. And many more.
