Picking up with the Barden Bellas post-graduation, the film navigates the challenges of adulthood and the pressure to maintain their cappella legacy. The ensemble cast, led by Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow, showcases an infectious camaraderie that gives the film its heart. Newcomers, including Hailee Steinfeld, seamlessly integrate into the group dynamics, adding humor and musical talent.

The musical performances are a standout once again, with a diverse playlist that spans genres and generations. The acapella renditions of popular hits are skillfully arranged, creating memorable moments that rival the first film's iconic performances.

Elizabeth Banks, who not only directed but also reprised her role as Gail, infuses the film with humor and self-awareness. The script navigates a delicate balance, addressing the challenges faced by the Bellas with a blend of wit and sincerity. While the film maintains its commitment to lighthearted comedy, it also tackles themes of friendship, self-discovery, and the importance of resilience in the face of setbacks. The characters evolve, facing both personal and professional challenges, which adds depth to the overall narrative.

Pitch Perfect 2 successfully avoids the pitfalls of many sequels by delivering a storyline that feels fresh and engaging. It acknowledges the original's strengths while expanding the Barden Bellas world. The film's energetic pacing, witty dialogue, and dynamic musical sequences make it an entertaining ride from start to finish. Well done here on the 2nd installment.

Pitch Perfect 2 FULL REACTION

Great reaction, I'm glad you all enjoyed the movie, I love how Oak knows pretty much all the music in these movies so far. I know some people don't love this one as much, but I've always enjoyed it. I like the introduction of Hailee Steinfeld, I think Keegan-Michael Key was great and I think Das Sound Machine was good as well. Although I didn't love the way they did the Riff-Off the first time I watched this, I'm enjoying it more on rewatches. Also, being a fan of Hailee Steinfeld, I always like to recommend True Grit, if you haven't already seen that and The Edge of Seventeen, which I think is underappreciated.

Raquel Perodin

My favorite riff off of any of the movies. great reaction!

Hannah Forster

since you thought Fat Amy and Bumper were funny together, you could watch "Isnt it romantic" if you just wanna have a good laugh. Rebel Wilson and Adam Devine play love interests in that too. I never really liked Romantic Comedys but Isnt it Romantic had me crying laughing from beginning till end :D

Lena Herbert

I forgot the Pentatonix cameo! So fun! This movie was wayyy funnier than I remembered. Great reaction, guys!

Man I actually liked this one even more than the first one. Like you guys said, I never would have watched this movie normally if it wasn't for your channel. I loved how the finale was actually competitive in this one. In the first one, I felt like the Treblemakers' performance was way too short compared to the Bellas' performance. I also loved the emotional impact of having Bellas from the past join them on stage in what is essentially their time of need. It really nailed the message of the sorority actually helping each other and being united for life. I'm excited to watch the 3rd one now.
