Is it possible that Butcher might consider using Compound V to gain superpowers and challenge Homelander? It seems like the story is heading in that direction, setting the stage for an explosive final episode.

This episode appears to serve as a moment of pause before the impending climax, leaving several intriguing questions unanswered. It's likely that Deep and A-Train will rejoin the storyline at some point, but the specifics of their involvement remain uncertain.

The episode's intense conclusion is expected to involve Homelander and Stormfront exploiting fear to mobilize their personal army. This plot element cleverly reflects real-world issues and aligns with the satirical tone of the series, creating a compelling narrative.

Another great episode! Season 3 is my favorite of the series so can’t wait to get there

For as bad as Homelander is, I think he genuinely loves his son. It’ll be an opportunity to give Ryan what he didn’t have, despite how fkd up he’s going about it, Homelander is a product of what vought created and he doesn’t want that for Ryan so I can’t 100% hate him like I probably should

You're right about Butcher's dad. He played Denethor, the Steward of Gondor (who Pippin serves) in LOTR. He's an Australian actor called John Noble. So basically Denethor is playing Eomer's dad!

I see the relationship between Ryan and Homelander. As Homelander wants to re-do his life through his son give him what he never had but, That definitely does not mean he's not going to teach all the wrong things to his son.

Strong assumption that its not simply about controlling his son through what he considers fatherhood, which he has no clue/warped ideas about. I don't think homelander is capable of a healthy relationship lol

That final scene reminded me so much of the BVS court scene.
