Of course another banger of an episode! Arcane's penultimate episode sets the stage for an explosive finale, bringing all the pieces together for an impending all-out war. The episode introduces some intriguing moments, such as the pleasant surprise of Ekko's survival and Heimerdinger's eye-opening journey through the chaotic and devastated streets of the Undercity.

However, despite Jayce's innovative ideas, the Council remains steadfast in their old-fashioned approach, proving insufficient in preventing the impending catastrophe. Jayce and Vi make a dang good team. The issue of borders has served as a compelling demonstration of how political ideologies can have grave repercussions, with Jinx standing out as the unpredictable element in the mix.

Jinx's appearance and the aftermath of her surgery remain a mystery, adding an element of curiosity as the finale approaches, particularly since the ending implies that Caitlyn is about to experience it firsthand.

Conor Moriarty

Glad y’all finally got to see that awesome fight scene, LETS GOOOOOOOOO

MJ Eid

My theory that the monster vi refers to running from was not silco but the jinx side of powder. She “ran” from it twice once as a kid and once on the bridge.

Glenn Quagmire

Oak looks like a white Ricardo Milos and I'm loving it. haha :D

Zen Reacts

I think the monster she saw as a kid was herself when she finally snapped and hit Powder

I too am in Love with Ambessa Medarda this episode! Really lets you see the opposite side of Mel and why Mel was acting like we she did. Noxus, where ambessa is from, is a whole nation that would be amazing to dive into.

I think with Viktor and the hexcore, it connected to him the first time it took some of his blood. Hence, Heimerdinger asking what changed Viktor after it took his blood and that whole DNA looking sequence with his blood and the hexcore. Using his blood and the Shimmer helped it change the leg he had an issue with. The third time he used it he didn't have Shimmer so it used Sky as the source it would have originally used the Shimmer for which is why she was vaporized and only his hand changed. The hexcore ended up changing a third time, the second time being after it was used with Shimmer.

This show is just the gift that keeps on giving. I'm rewatching and getting just as excited as the first time. This has been so much fun and cannot wait for the finale!

This episode packs so much content ! But apart from the obvious, there are a lot of questions asked in this episode. Being a big fan of the extended universe of Arcane (League of legends), and without spoiler, Viktor is definitely using some kind of ominous magic that he doesn't understand and the first time thanks to shimmer he was able to escape the paying price of his transformation, but the second time... Skye paid for him. The second is the bread crumbs left along the episodes about Noxus, hinting at a much bigger fish "across the sea", and now seeing actual Noxxians with Mel's mom, gets me very exited for season 2, and for you guys to witness the climax of this first season

Yes, I love all the parallels that the show has. And I also like that Mel's arc comes so late in the series and while I do think she's manipulative, I think it more has to do with her being a social expert or Chessmaster not a warmonger. She's playing the same game that most of the councilors are and she's better at it. I think it all ties down to her being more fox than wolf or maybe just doing her own thing.

It's so upsetting that Skye to the viewer was how Skye was to Viktor. Not acknowledged or very significant. Viktor knew her but was too obsessed with science to truly see her. Until it was too late. I believe Viktor would've died if it weren't for Skye. Tragic.

Can't believe we only have one episode left. Loved watching again with you guys

The nation that the merdarda family comes from is a whole different nation, the nation of Noxus. This place is a warmongering nation that favours the strong and spits out the weak. The league of legends universe is full of fully fleshed out regions, about 10-12 major ones that I can think of and this show only touches on one of them. There is so much potential for future series which is exciting. Even just in Piltover, there are about 40 characters from there in the game and we've only had a few of them show up in this first season.

Miss_CJ

The beauty of it all is that when the main story of Zaun/Piltover will be done, there are so many other storylines the show can explore. I for one would really like the Bilgewater region.

Viktor tried running towards his little boat as a kid, but couldn't. Now he outrun the actual boats as an adult. 10/10

Ikee boi

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Love that detail! :D

Rabbid Dawg

At the beginning and end of this episode, ("symbol of the old regime" girl and the kid shot by Jayce that fell) you can see that the animators literally take the light out of someone's eyes to signify that they have passed.

Rabbid Dawg

Fun enough too, our last shot of the episode is of Jinx's eyes lighting up. ;) Maybe it's looking too deep, but I personally like to think it was intentional. Jinx is revitalized and has a new purpose in life it seems - at the very least she looks to have plans for Caitlyn.

I dont think the children working in the factory was a plan of silco, for me it was more a way of showing how bad their situation was, it was the only place to try to care for their elders.
