You know, I used to watch this movie as a kid and I loved it but I was really little and didnt understand much about anything and the older I got the more I realized over the years how much of a shitty adaption this was of ATLA 😂 now Im an adult and I havent seen this movie in years and now that Im watching it with you guys I cant stop cringing at how awful it is its 😭

I was literally laughing the entire video lol. Yes, this movie is awful. For me the locations and ships were actually pretty solid, but the rest of it was just a dumpster fire. I don't think I've seen Oak this riled up in awhile haha

just so you know oak, eskimo is no longer a term that is used, i am not sure that it quailifys as a slur exactly but I know it is frowned upon to use it

One of the strangest decisions to me was to not have Aang actually destroy the fire navy ships while in the avatar state. The largest conflict in the show, that is most vividly seen in the final part of the Ozai fight, is Aang vs the avatar state. He values human life so highly, while the avatar state doesn't care what must be done to restore balance.

Such an awful movie. My friends and I still crack up that it took basically an entire village to move a pebble. I hope the Netflix remake does the og series justice.

Do you plan on watching Legend of Korra? it's not quite as good as Avatar but it's still lovely to see stories told in the same world
